Who we are
Tanuki Tenki is a personal gut-health tracker operated by SHeCodez LLC (shecodez.com). You log how a day felt on a simple weather scale — sunny, cloudy, rainy, or stormy — instead of a clinical stool chart. This website is the pre-launch page for that app.
What this policy covers
- This website, including the launch waitlist
- The Tanuki Tenki iOS app, once it is available
Information we collect
On this website
- Your email address, if you join the waitlist
- Anonymous site analytics (for example, that a page was viewed) through Vercel Analytics
We do not ask for your name, payment details, or health information on this website.
In the iOS app
- Daily logs you choose to record on the weather scale
- In-app progress tied to those logs, such as the ink painting reveal and tanuki visitors you collect
Your logs are stored on your device by default. We do not sell them, and we do not share them with advertisers.
How we use information
- Waitlist email: to tell you when the app launches
- App logs: to show your history and unlock the painting and tanuki visitors on your device
- Analytics: to see whether this website is working
We do not use your health logs to advertise to you.
How we share information
We do not sell personal information.
We may share limited information only:
- With the provider that hosts this website (currently Vercel)
- With Loops, which stores waitlist addresses and sends the launch note
- If the law requires it
- If you ask us to, for example by emailing us
Waitlist emails are used only to run the waitlist.
Storage and retention
- Waitlist emails are kept until we have sent the launch notice, or until you ask us to delete your address
- App logs stay on your device unless you delete them or remove the app
- If we later add an optional account or backup, we will update this policy before that happens
Your choices
- You do not have to join the waitlist
- Email hi@tanukitenki.com to have your waitlist address deleted
- In the app, you will be able to delete logs stored on your device

Children
Tanuki Tenki is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you think we have, please email us and we will delete it.
Health information
Tanuki Tenki is a personal wellness tracker. It is not a medical device, diagnosis, or treatment, and it is not a substitute for professional care. We are not a covered entity under HIPAA.
Changes
We may update this policy. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page. If a change is material, we will post the updated policy here.
